HOW WE BEGAN...

On 2nd October, 2010 I was appointed Youth Leader of Unity District, a district church of Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC) in Ikeja, Lagos State. On assumption of duty, I engaged the young people and discovered that a good number of them were done with Secondary School but did not have proper direction for their lives.

As I pondered on these for many weeks in prayers and deep thought, the Lord dropped THE CONFAB on my mind. We put together a Conference designed to inspire the youths, young adults and professionals to reach their full potentials; be the best; dream big and take bold steps; and most importantly, live for God in righteousness.

That was how The Conference of Faithful Ambassadors (The CONFAB), was birthed.

OUR OBJECTIVE

To empower the mind of young people to think different, develop desired competencies, take the lead and become change agents and solution providers to the world around them. We plan to achieve this by delivering conferences, summits, personal development programmes, and coaching/mentoring sessions.

To support future leaders in their quest to develop themselves to reach the highest point in their chosen field of endeavour and impact society for the common good of all.

To inspire the next generation to fully discover themselves, maximize their God-given potential and positively transform society.

Mr Koyejo OLUWATOSIN

Convener CONFAB

Oluwakoyejo Oluwatosin is an innovative entrepreneur with a strong passion for creative excellence. He is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Chronicles Software Development Company Limited, which he founded while in his final year at the University on September 27, 2007.

Chronicles, the company he founded in his undergraduate days, went from zero to emerge as one of the top 50 emerging businesses in Nigeria by Diamond Bank in its BET 3 programme in 2013. With over 220,000 users since inception, in about 40 countries and four continents, Chronicles is fast becoming a global company with its goal of becoming Africa's Finest Solution Company very much on track.

Born on August 3, 1981, in Lagos Nigeria, he is a graduate of Computer Science and was Pioneer President of Programmers' Group of University of Ado-Ekiti UNAD. Koyejo has developed many commercially viable solutions including SuccessBOX, Dailymanna4Mobile, Universal Test Engine (UTEn), and most recently the SuccessTAB – A Digital Learning Device for Students and Schools.

In August 2016, Koyejo was selected among Top 35 entrepreneurs in West Africa by Stanford University USA to attend its Stanford SEED programme designed for leading entrepreneurs in emerging economies. He is an Alumnus of Enterprise Business Center (EDC), a sister institution of Lagos Business School (LBS) and FATE Foundation.

He is the Convener of "The CONFAB" an annual conference of young professionals and students, which aims at empowering youths to take the lead and excel in their chosen fields. Koyejo has a passion for youths, to teach them principles that will make them peculiar and priceless. He enjoys inspiring reading and vision casting.
